Hi! I’m Stephen, a graphic designer fresh out of university with boundless enthusiasm, a discerning eye, and an eagerness to experiment. My work suggests a speciality in typography, publications and mapmaking, but I massively enjoy branding, motion and creative coding, and want to try my hand at any and all facets within the versatile and complex field of design.
Growing up in Oxfordshire, I took a liking to design very early on; my schoolwork in exercise books was framed by sketches and doodles, while art and maths were two of the subjects I continued to study right up until the end of my school career, ultimately culminating in a burgeoning passion and an undergraduate degree in graphic design at Winchester School of Art, part of the University of Southampton.
Beyond design, I have been fascinated with flora, fauna and the wider world since I was born, and I try to keep the environment in my mind in both my practice and my lifestyle as much as I can. I am also an avid music listener and sports fanatic, spending the majority of my free time either keeping up with either new album releases or the highs and lows of AFC Bournemouth and Scuderia Ferrari…
